KDY PYLWCY MLKAn MLKA ('King Peroz, King of Kings' in Pahlawi) Draped bust of Peroz I to right, wearing mural crown with two wings, frontal crescent and korymbos set on crescent. Rev. PYLWCY ('Peroz' in Pahlawi) Fire altar flanked by two attendants; in upper field to left, six-pointed star; in upper field to right, crescent; in field to right, LYW (name of the mint in Pahlawi). SNS III, pl. 91, 158. Lightly toned. Extremely fine.
